Pharos, an electronic integration solution
The International Automotive Electronics Congress (IAEC) saw the official launch of Pharos, a consortium made up of Delphi - an international OEM - CEA and Geensys. Its aim is to promote the use of the Pharos operating system, which meets the demand for increasingly robust safety electronics while easing the integration of multiple functions and levels of compatibility with Autosar requirements at a significantly lower cost. The consortium, consisting of a user group, is seeking to extend participation, not only within the automotive sector, but also in other sectors such as aeronautics and public transport. It plans to start installing Pharos in embedded computers as of 2013.
