The CEA at the command of EICOSE
Since June 1stas part of the System@TIC competitiveness cluster, the CEA has presided over the Steering Committee of the European Centre of Excellence, EICOSE (European Institute for Complex Safety Critical Systems Engineering). EICOSE is dedicated to innovation on embedded systems for transport. The three founder members ensured that this position was rotated. The CEA's nomination follows those of the German Safetrans research cluster in 2007 and the French competitiveness cluster Aerospace Valley in 2008. EICOSE is a European Virtual Institute. It contributes to the development of the strategic agenda of the European Artemis platform in the areas of processes, methods and tools for critical embedded systems engineering.
